Genital tuberculosis is a known cause of infertility in women and infertility is the most common initial symptom of genital tuberculosis.Genital tuberculosis not only causes tubal obstruction and dysfunction but also impairs implantation due to endometrial involvement and ovulatory failure from ovarian involvement. Endometriosis is the growth of endometrial tissue outside of the uterus and is commonly associated with an increased risk of infertility.
