Globalization of Education in India: the Road Ahead

Abstract :

Globalization means the economical strength due to cross border transaction of businesses between different countries. Globalization leads to more cash inflows, emergence of new technologies and new opportunities for business and job. Globalization in education means giving path to global educational institutions in ones country for the benefits of the students, parents, teachers and the country for standardization of the education sector. Globalization in education means to create path for discovery and to shape the education sector. Globalization in education means to ing the changes in the functioning of the educational institutions in context with the foreign institutions.

In the past most of the institutions which were good were either supported by State Government or by Central Government but now days many foreign institutions and local private institutions are available which are good. The requirement of these foreign institutions and local private players stood up because there was more demand than supply of students in corporate. The growing demand of the industries and the corporate sector has increased the scope of higher education in India.

The main objective of the research paper is to focus on the prospects and the problems of globalization of education in India. The next main objective of the research paper is to find the solutions related with the above existing problems through the research work. This research paper will basically deal in higher education related with the management field of India. This research paper will show the contribution of global and local private players in the management education. This research paper will work on following minor objectives as prospects of globalization of education which are as follows i.e. to know the impact of global education in India, to know the role of global innovation in education sector, to know the impact of global education on the performance of students and teachers, to know the impact of global education on parents, to know the impact of global education on educational institution administrative services, to know the impact of global education on economical aspect of local educational institutions, to know the impact of global education on competitive nature of educational institutions and to know the impact of global education on the society. This research paper will also work on following minor objectives as problems of globalization of education which are as follows i.e. to know the impact of government rules and regulations over globalization of education in India, impact of economical crisis over globalization of education, impact of resistance of work force over globalization of education, impact of language as barrier over globalization of education, impact of non availability of facilities in rural areas over globalization of education and impact of cultural hindrances over globalization of education in India. Lastly this research paper will find the solutions related with the above problems of globalization of education in India.

This paper will try to find the demand of foreign universities having campus in India as well as view of Indian universities for having campus aoad. The education scenario will form the backbone in the development of the economic power of any country.
