Growth and Trends of Population in Nanded City, Maharashtra

Abstract :

The present paper attempts to analyze decadal variation of population growth and trends in Nanded city. The study of population is very important from socio–economic point of view. The features, growth and trends of population in any region are most essential requirements to know from the stand point of economy, society and planning. The present study endeavored. Therefore to find out the differential growth and trends of population in the city from 1901–2001. All the relevant data meant for the purpose have been obtained from various publication of the census data of India. The tabulated data have been depicted on maps by using different cartographic techniques.
