IMPACT OF FDI OUTFLOWS ON GDP OF BRICS COUNTRIES

Ms. Anupam

Abstract :

Over the past few years India’s outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) flows and stocks has increased dramatically although the immense flow of OFDI from developing countries at an international level is fairly a new phenomenon. This aggregate trend is contemplative from the fact that at the firm level technological capabilities and market share of many companies from the developing economies (ETNCs) have become gradually stronger. This paper analyse the impact of FDI outflows on GDP of BRICS countries. We have used regression model that explains that overseas FDI does not showing significant impact on GDP.
