Conclusions: Commonest indication for ventilator support was organophosphorous poisoning followed by neurological diseases. Mortality rate was 50.32%. Multiple factors are responsible for the outcome of patients in the intensive care unit and most important factor might be monitoring. Authors recommend comparative study to confirm the finding.
