INFORMAL SECTOR–RELATED POLICIES & ISSUES

Abstract :
The life of the informal sector is filled with hardships and difficulties due to various reasons in India. There is less social security for the informal sector workers & women are the main accuse in this sector. They have to face lots of problems & social insecurity than men. Most of the informal sector resides in slum dwellings. This is an attempt to look into difficulties of informal sectors, women in informal sectors slums, related policies & sustainability issues. Special efforts of this attempt are to highlight sustainability issues & related policies which can be incorporated in slum rehabilitation.
