LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE REGARDING NURSING INFORMATICS AMONG NURSES IN SELECTED HOSPITALS KANYA KUMARI DISTRICT

Abstract :

Nursing informatics is a field of integrating information and computer science with nursing to enable nurses to collect and manage data, process data into information and knowledge, and make knowledge based decisions about patient care. It is decisions about patient care. It is essentially the science and all of nursing data into information. A quantitative approach was adopted with descriptive design was used in this study. 20 nurses were selected through convenient sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed by using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study concluded that the nurses had moderately adequate knowledge regarding nursing informatics.
