Localised Neurofibroma of Vulva: A Case Report and Review of Literature

Abstract :
Neurofioma of vulva is rare, benign tumor of genital tract arising from nerve sheath of peripheral nervous system. It may present as solitary or as part of von Recklinghausen’s disease. The vulva is the most frequent location of neurofioma in female genital tract. We describe a case of localized, solitary neurofioma arising from left labia majus in a young patient with complaints of discomfort, dysparunia. There were no signs of von Recklinghausen’s disease. We proceeded to surgical removal of the lesion and followed up for recurrence.
