Dr. Jaya Sahu, Ajay Kumar Basod
Abstract :
The treatment of drug–resistant (DR)–tuberculosis (TB) necessitates the use of second–line injectable anti–TB drugs which are associated with heå loss. Heå loss affects communication and the development of language and social skills in children. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 650,000 cases globally of multidrug–resistant (MDR) tuberculosis (TB) (Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistant to rifampicin and isoniazid).
