Abstract :

Cryolipolysis is a non–invasive technique which works as an alternative to liposuction surgery. It has a limited side effect profile and reduces localized fat significantly through controlled cooling of the dermis, thus, inducing apoptosis of fat cells. The cases of three female patients, which had been previously documented in a case report in order to demonstrate the treatment efficacy from of 1 to 3 months after the procedure, were considered in this study. Clinical photographs of the treated arms, lower abdomen, and upper abdomen demonstrate the short–term fat reduction efficacy in the three subjects.
