Pernicious Constipation in Adult Secondary to B12 Deficiency - A Case Report.

Abstract :

We report a rare case of chronic constipation in 41 yr old male, dependent on laxative and caused by B 12 deficiency resulting from absorption defect secondary to presence of Antiparietal cell antibody. Parenteral vitamin B 12 supplementation resulted in dramatic improvement of his symptom.
