Placental Thickness as an Ultrasonographic indicator for estimating gestational Age of the Fetus
Dr. B. Venkateswarlu, Dr. S. V. Rao
Abstract :
Placental thickness evaluation by sonography has been used to characterize Placental position and Morphologic changes as it matures. Sonographic measurement of Placental thickness at the level of cord insertion site is simple. Placental thickness (in mm) increases in linear fashion with advancing gestational age (in weeks) and almost matching it with from 11 to 35 weeks of gestation
