Right To Education Act, 2009: An Analysis of Implementation in India

Abstract :

 RTE Act came in to force on 1st April 2010 originate from the 86th Constitutional Amendment Act, 2002 The act provided elementary education up to age group of 6–14 years in his/her neighbourhood. This Act was an initiative taken by Government of India towards achieving the goal of elementary education. The present paper focused on features of act and analyse implementation of act according to reports like Annual Status of Education Report (2014) and 4th Year Right to Act (2009).
