Role of Self Help Groups in Women Empowerment –With Reference to Amravati District

Abstract :

Women’s Co–operation in work is advancement markers and the status of Women’s is the benchmark for society guarantee to Progress. Self Help Group(SHG) program is intended to use the general prosperity in a network by financially and socially engaging its Women’s. The greater part of the Women’s in Amravati region are not financially engaged. At the point when Women’s are monetarily free numerous issues throughout their life is naturally made plans to far degree. With the end goal to engage Women’s Self–enable gatherings to assume an essential job. The Scheme of Self Help Groups under Sanghamitra is the effective plan in enabling Women’s in Amravati area. In this paper an endeavor is made to know the job of SHG’S in enabling Women’s in Amravati region.
