Study on physicochemical properties of domestic bottled drinking water brands in Saudi Arabia

Abstract :

Physicochemical properties (pH, electric conductivity and total hardness), positive cations (magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium) and negative anions (chloride, sulphates, Bromate, nitrate and irone) of different domestic bottled water ands in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were analysed using standard methods. These parameters were compared with the guideline value of Saudi standards. Results indicated that the quality of bottled water samples was within the permissible limit.
