Suppressive effect of aqueous root extract of Lantana camara on growth parameters of Parthenium hysterophorus in seedling stage

Abstract :

The paper presents the allelopathic effect of different concentrations of aqueous root extract of L.camara on root and shoot length, leaf area and fresh and dry weight of P.hysterophorus in seedling stage. The bioassay indicated that the inhibitory effect was much more pronounced at higher concentration.
