Sustainable Development and the Evolving for Environmental Protection in the Mining Industry

Abstract :

The mining industry is needed to implement even the most widely accepted principles of environmental protection. Examples relevant to the mining industry are given. The mining industry needs to continue to take further steps to fully compress the concepts of sustainable development and the despite of improved performance and new initiatives. The commitment by the mining industry which has often been a motivating factor in the past is most important to environmental protection. Doing the right thing now incorporates a triple goal for the mining industry, to achieve environmental protection, social acceptance and economic benefits from its operations.
