Abstract :

The synthesis of new zirconium mixed ligand porphyrin complexes 5–XSAZrTTP, where 5–XSA(X= –Cl, –F, –NO2, –CH3, –NH2)= substituted salicylate – the out planed ligand, and TTP – the dianion of 5,10,15,20–tetra–p–tolyl–21H,23H–porphineis reported. The obtained complexes are characterized by UV–Vis, 1H NMR, IR, and ESI Mass spectroscopy. Beside fluorescence, the complexes were also screened for biological studies.
