THE IMPACT OF HIGH PERFORMANCE WORK SYSTEMS ON ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANCE AMONG NURSES IN CORPORATE MULTI SPECIALITY HOSPITALS, CHENNAI

Abstract :

 The Indian healthcare sector is growing rapidly due to its high network coverage, high quality services and high performance work system (HPWS). This study examines the effect of HPWS on organizational performance in corporate multi specialty hospitals, Chennai. Nurses are playing an important role in the health care organizations. It is an attempt to check whether the nurses are motivated enough to handle the suitable skill for utilizing the opportunities in creating organizational outcome. The corporate hospital performances were measured by using a structured questionnaire based on the data collected from registered nurses who have more than one year of experience. Analytical research techniques were used to assess the collected data. The study was designed to test by using ANOVA, Correlation and Multiple Regression Anlysis. The results of the analysis revealed that the educational qualification group and experience group have a difference of opinions on performance factors
