THE PROBLEMS FACED BY THE PRINCIPAL OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN IMPHAL WEST DISTRICT OF MANIPUR.

Abstract :

The present paper attempts to study the problems that are facing by the principals of different private schools in Imphal West District of Manipur. The study used 10 principals from the selected private schools of Imphal West district. Descriptive – survey method was used as the methodology of the present study. In the study, self–designed questionnaire was employed as the tool giving weightage of ‘1’ for ‘Yes’ and ‘0’ for ‘No’ respectively. Mean percentage was used as the statistical technique inorder to analyze the data. From the study, it came to highlight that all the principals of the private schools are performing their role and responsibilities very efficiently and effectively with a keen co–operation from the teaching staffs, non–teaching staffs, parents of their students and received a good environment and sole support from the community of the existing schools
