Fortunately no mother practiced discarding of colostrum due to misconception. Nearly half of the mothers practiced exclusive east feeding. Faulty practice like using feeding bottles was adopted by 49 percent mothers for supplementation of infant formula and cow’s milk. Significant relationship at 1 percent level was observed between family income and weight of children.
