Abstract :
Ultrasonic velocity (U) and density (ρ) for the binary liquid mixtures of 1–Propanethiol with Benzene, Carbon tetrachloride, Cyclo hexane, n–Hexane have been measured for 2MHz ultrasonic frequency at 300C. The experimental data have been used to calculate acoustic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (βad), acoustic impedance (z), relative association (RA) and intermolecular free length (Lf). The results are interpreted in terms of molecular interaction between the components of the mixture.
