WOUND HEALING ACTIVITY OF–7–O–glucoside from the flowers of CLERODENDRUM PHILOMIDES

Abstract :

The fresh flowers of Clerodendrum philomides is found to contain apigenin and apigenin 7–O–glucoside. The isolated compound is characterized by choromatography and UV spectral techniques. . The ethyl acetate extract of Clerodendrum phlomidis is investigated for its wound healing property.The flower extract has immense potential for the management and treatment of wounds.
