Effectiveness of Smart video classroom in enhancing listening skill of the secondary students.

Abstract :

The present investigation is aimed to find out the effectiveness of Smart video classroom in enhancing listening skill of the students.

This study is experimental in nature and a single group design was adopted. The investigators selected 40 students from MRM School, Pudukkottai. After conducting the pre–test, the sample was exposed to smart video classrooms technique, and then post test was conducted. The results revealed that Smart video classroom proceed to be more effective in enhancing listening skill of the secondary students. This model emphasizes the teacher guiding the student in an evolving journey rather than standing in front delivering messages in a linear one way fashion. Thus, Smart video classroom can be used in the English class rooms to motivate the learner’s to enhance their listening skill.
