MEDICINAL PLABTS AND THEIR IMPACT ON CONTROLLING DIABETES

Abstract :
India has more diabetics than any other nation of the world. A common effect of diabetes is Hyperglycemia or increased blood sugar. By the year 2030, over 100 million people in India are likely to suffer from diabetes, say researchers. There are several means of managing and treating diabetes. Thank goodness for nature because several medicinal plants have been identified and proven very effective for treating diabetes mellitus. The present paper discusses different medicinal plants used for controlling diabetes.
