Abstract :

 BACK GROUND: Retro spective Study of 20 cases of Intertrochantericfracture of femur withProximal femoral nailing   Inclusion criteria:   1. Fractures about Trochanteric area classified according to theOrthopedic Trauma   Association system AO/OTA 31A1/A2/A3. 2. Patients with age 20 years & above. 3. All fresh fractures.   Exclusion criteria:   1. Patients younger than 20 years. 2. Non ambulatory patients. 3. Malunited fractures.
